The Monkey Lamp Collection is a grouping of curious primates with included LED light sources, grasping the bright torches for comfort and survival. Sitting, standing or hanging, each monkey is composed entirely of resin like a statuesque wax sculpture. The light source is hardly primitive—the socket includes a warm LED bulb, illuminating an allegory of innovation to the primal nature of the animal. The Sitting monkey is suited well for table tops while the Standing monkey can be a floor or table light.
They sneak into our house, as if they are stealing some bulbs and are dismantling a chandelier and as if they are going around the house looking for something that catches their attention. They are tiny little crazy creatures that mind their own business and that give an interesting visual effect, just like we do.
